New Orleans, LA – Clerk of Civil District Court, Chelsey Richard Napoleon has added another endorsement to her growing list of support.

Wednesday evening, the Independent Women’s Organization held their endorsement forum where they allowed candidates to speak and answer questions. They enthusiastically voted for Chelsey Richard Napoleon as their choice to continue serving as Clerk of Civil District Court.

The Independent Women’s Organization supports Democratic candidates who are allies in the struggle for women’s equality. Additionally, they advocate at the local and state level for issues that affect Louisiana women and their families.

Membership today exceeds 300 women, diverse in background, ethnicity, age, and occupation. IWO women have held positions in all forms of campaign and government work, and can be credited with many political successes. Chelsey is also a member of the organization.

“Receiving the endorsement of the Independent Women’s Organization is very special to me.  I have created long lasting relationships with members who want to ensure that women are better represented at all levels of government. It is so important that organizations like IWO get the word out about candidates they believe have the right experience and can get the job done.”, said Chelsey following the endorsement.
